Another Support For Atiku

The presidential candidate of National Interest Party(NIP), and chairman of the party, Mrs Eunice Atuejide has dropped her ambition of contesting fot the coverted office in the 2019 presidential polls due for Saturday, February 23. ln the same vein,she has declared full support for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for President. According to a statement she released in that regard, Mrs. Atuejide explained that at the time she set out on this journey in 2016, she promised to always put Nigeria first, adding that in doing this, she invested so much into bringing together all the alternative candidates, pointing out that when that failed, she invested even more into her race for the Presidency “When I set out on this journey in 2016, I promised myself one thing – to always put Nigeria first! “I invested so much into bringing together all the alternative candidates and when that failed, I invested even more into my race for the Presidency.

Asa To Headline 2019 MTN Bush Fire Festival

Nigerian-born musician, Asa Elemide,who is based in Paris will be headlining the 2019 MTN Bush Fire Festival,so announced by the organisers.

Asa will grace the music festival’s stage with artists from all over Africa.
They include, Nairobi-based “Blinky” Bill Sellanga, SWAMA lifetime achievement winner, Smiles Mandla Makama, South Africa’s Thabang Tabane and Sereetsi & the Natives.
Other artistes scheduled for the event are  GranMah, the Dub / Reggae Fusion band from Mozambique, Dobet Gnahoré from Côte d’Ivoire, Maia and the Big Sky from Kenya, and Eme and Moonchild from Nigeria and South Africa respectively.
This year, Mahube, will bring together some of Southern Africa’s top musicians in an explosive collaboration and Oliver Mtukudzi-tribute.Also featuring at the MTN Bushfire are artists from Europe including Puts Marie from Switzerland and Austria’s Aramboa ,whose electronic soul music includes elements of Downbeat, Triphop, IDM, Neo-Soul, Bass Music, Dubstep and Jazz.
The festival was the winner of the African Responsible Tourism Awards Most Sustainable Event Award in 2017 and was also hailed in 2016 by CNN as one of the “7 African music festivals you really have to see.”
The 13th edition of the MTN Bushfire Festival will hold in Swaziland from May 24 to May 26.
